Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will take a leading role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative mechanical solutions across diverse projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical mentorship, and drive projects from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex mechanical design projects from conception through completion.
- Develop detailed models, drawings, and specifications using CAD and FEA tools.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of new products.
- Analyze and solve advanced engineering problems related to mechanical design, manufacturing, and system integration.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.
- Drive design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvements in product quality and performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay informed of industry trends, standards, and advancements in technology.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a product development environment.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling, drafting, and FEA analysis (SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Proven project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with design for manufacturability and value engineering.
- Experience collaborating with international suppliers and OEMs.
