Position Summary:
The Mechanical Design Engineer I is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical systems and products. This role involves creating technical drawings and 3D models, optimizing existing designs, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design mechanical parts, assemblies, and products using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze mechanical systems for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth product realization.
- Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of designs; identify and solve technical problems throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement design modifications and continuous improvements for cost reduction, performance enhancement, and manufacturability.
- Work with external vendors and customers as needed to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, materials selection, and engineering analysis (FEA, CFD is a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
